Gabriel looked at him with disgust.
‘Well then,’ said he. ‘Well then what the hell am I doing here?’
‘You came to fetch me,’ said Charles. ‘Remember? I’m coming to lunch with you and then we’re taking Zazie to he Eiffel Tower.’
‘Let’s go then’.
Gabriel got up and, followed by Charles, went out, ignoring the chap.
